Transparency Report
This transparency report is published in accordance with Article 15 of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). CompSesh is committed to transparency about how we moderate content and respond to legal requests. This report covers our content moderation practices, enforcement actions, and any orders received from authorities.
1. About CompSesh
CompSesh is a climbing session logging and social application for indoor rock climbing. Users can log climbing sessions, participate in multiplayer competitions, follow other climbers, contribute to a shared gym directory, and upload photos and videos of boulders and routes. The service launched on February 26, 2026.
As of publication, CompSesh qualifies as a provider of an intermediary service under the DSA. We are not a Very Large Online Platform (VLOP). This report is provided voluntarily in the spirit of transparency and in compliance with Article 15 requirements applicable to our service category.
2. Content Moderation Practices
2.1 Policies
Content moderation on CompSesh is governed by our Community Guidelines, which prohibit harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit content, graphic violence, content depicting minors inappropriately, illegal activity, spam, and data manipulation. These guidelines apply to all user-generated content, including profile photos, display names, gym data submissions, and photos/videos of boulders and routes.
2.2 Moderation Methods
Content moderation is performed by human review. All reports submitted by users are reviewed by our team. We do not currently use automated content moderation tools for content detection or removal. Moderation decisions are made by humans, not algorithms.
2.3 Staffing
Content moderation is currently handled by the CompSesh founding team. As the platform grows, we will expand our moderation capacity accordingly and update this report.
3. Orders from Authorities
During this reporting period, CompSesh received 0 orders from member state authorities to act against illegal content (DSA Article 9) and 0 orders to provide information (DSA Article 10).
4. Notices and User Reports
During this reporting period, CompSesh received 0 notices or reports from users through our reporting mechanisms. Reports can be submitted via the in-app report button or by emailing [email protected].
Our target is to acknowledge receipt of all reports within 24 hours and to complete review promptly thereafter.
5. Content Moderation Actions
During this reporting period:

- Accounts temporarily suspended: 0
- Accounts permanently terminated: 0
No content moderation actions were taken on the basis of legal obligations or terms of service violations during this period.
6. Complaints and Appeals
During this reporting period, CompSesh received 0 complaints through our internal complaint-handling system regarding content moderation decisions. Our complaint-handling system is free of charge and available to all users.
No disputes were referred to out-of-court dispute settlement bodies during this period.
7. Use of Automated Means
CompSesh does not currently use automated means for content moderation, including automated content detection, automated decision-making, or automated content removal. All moderation decisions are made by human reviewers.
8. Median Processing Times
As no reports or orders were received during this reporting period, median processing time data is not available. We aim to process all reports within 24 hours of receipt and to respond to appeals within 14 days.
9. EU/EEA User Information
Users in the EU/EEA have the right to:
- Report content they consider illegal or in violation of our Community Guidelines
- Receive a statement of reasons for any content moderation decision that affects them
- Appeal moderation decisions through our internal complaint-handling system at no cost
- Submit disputes to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body
- Use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
